Gallery: Monochrome Madness, starting with an H

Another childhood favourite is the alphabet book. For the English speakers amongst us, the last few letters of the alphabet always presented the biggest challenges for those creating these books. X was always ‘for Xylophone’, Y ‘for Yacht’ or occasionally ‘for Yak’, and Z usually ‘for Zebra’.

But most letters offer a wide range of options, among them H. Would it be ‘for Horse’ or perhaps ‘for House’? Or any one of a number of alternatives?

For this week’s Monochrome Madness, let’s feature any subject beginning with that letter.

All these shots were converted with my go-to software, Nik Silver Efex Pro. My feature photo was taken in Oaxaca, Mexico, and I felt I had to use selective colour to preserve that red heart!

To find out more about Monochrome Madness have a look at the information on Leanne’s blog. Meanwhile I’m looking forward to seeing all your H subject.!
