Greetings from Whitstable
Seaside sunset
Whitstable is renowned for its sunsets. Situated on the north coast of Kent it offers spectacular views of the sky looking towards the Thames Estuary and Isle of Sheppey. At low tide the shallow water and wet shingle beach reflect the colours. It was skies like the one we saw last night that inspired the artist JMW Turner. The internet is probably already overloaded with Whitstable sunsets but I can’t resist adding my own!

I just read Jude’s blog and your comment about being in Whitstable, and then this popped up next! That’s a very lovely sunset.
